Visualizer Opportunities

Enhance Traditional Presentation

"Guide on the Side" Student Centered Lesson

Visualizer lessons are an opportunity to turn a demonstration into an event. My favorite lesson are:
  • compare & contrast lessons when 2 students come up with different ways to solve a math problem (wonderful moment if both students are right)
  • creation lessons (origami, tangrams, chemistry, robotics)
  • dissection lessons (fish, sheep heart, beef/sheep kidneys, even chicken wings!)
  • presentations of individual and collaborative work (handwritten)
  • student made diagrams or library book pictures or student selected text
